I was really dissapointed. I had hoped that it would be as good as Spiderman and X-men.
The storyline deviated from the original comic and the deviation did not enrich the story at all. The CGI was incredible though. Unfortunately it was only a small part of the movie.A person could see the best of the movie just cruising the different internet preview sights and watching the TV commercials.

Has your life gotten better as an athiest/agnostic?
by StinkyPantz inthis quote got me thinking:if you pray sincerely and admit you are a sinner and accept christ as your savior you can have the holy spirit come into your life.. .
i used to do this everyday.
when i was being abused, i used to pray incessantly for god to help me.

Myself, I believe that God exists, but he has much more important things to do than bother with me. I have been much happier since I gave up "hope". I have taken responsibility for myself, my own actions, needs, and search for justice. Why wait on another when you can do it yourself? No expectations, no dissapointments. I am by no means pissing on the "ransom sacrifice" just allowing for the forgivness of my sins to be credited toward those that are a bit more needy. (wouldn't want those child abusers to come up short on divine forgiveness) That is tounge in cheek by the way.
My moral code is based on the "love thy god, love thy neighbor" thing, right is right. I don't make excuses for my actions good or bad and accept no excuses from others. I judge them personaly and if I find them to be less than savory of character I ignore them. My circle of influence and family is small. I keep it well gaurded, safe and as happy as possible. I choose not to rely on divine intervention to smooth my path. I got my own rake. Should god ever choose to exercise his influence on me and mine, I would request he clean his own house before he comments on mine.

Are you a good kisser?
by Maverick ina regular at the local diner was sitting in his usual spot, all long in the face and sad, when his friend the waitress came over to take his order.
"why so mopey?
", she inquired.

Thunder Rider
I don't think I can answer that. I've never kissed anyone but SheilaM. I guess you'll have to ask her.
Now SheilaM on the other hand can bring on the goose flesh with her kissing!

Glad to hear it Mulan.
Why is it that well loved parents are the ones that get sick while the abusive worthless ones seem to thrive?

Do You Know Your Blood Type?
by RAYZORBLADE inwith all the information we have nowadays, out of sheer curiousity, do any of you know your blood type?
for some, i know the blood-issue is a touchy subject, but it's interesting to know it.
you'd be surprised especially when the case of an rh-negative mother may give birth to an rh-positive child.

Revenge is sweet....or is it?
by berylblue inwas reading an article about persons who had gotten revenge on someone who had hurt them (and not even in signficant ways).
i am trying hard to remember when i personally have ever exaxcted even a modicum of revenge on even some apalling wounds that others inflicted on me.
) i can't remember even one time.

When we are wronged we lose part of ourselves. We are less than we were. That should not be taken lightly.
Revenge is something people see as petty, for the most part, revenge is perceived this way because revenge can be so painful. We trade one pain for another. However, the saying of vengeance solving nothing is the main point here, as vengeance done correctly can solve most things. What is the true goal of vengeance? Not peace, but rather it is satisfaction, satisfaction that calms the blood lust, to forget a trespass against us, to introduce the transgressor to the pain you are feeling. Forgiveness does not yield satisfaction, forgiveness simply yields. It yields to the whim of all those whom you allow to hold sway over you, it yields to the perverse desires of those who refuse to play by the rules you force yourself to abide and adhere to, it gives the evil carte blanche. That must not be allowed.
Revenge brings satisfaction, and the only way to true peace is by having the satisfaction of knowing your enemy is not prospering at your expense. For the hate to subside, there must be peace, there must be satisfaction of a punishment. The noble idea of the death penalty is nothing more than revenge, but revenge of the most hypocritical nature, for you do not want to see a murderer punished, though that is the excuse the majority of you use,you want to see the murderer killed, dead, that is not punishment, that is revenge.
Revenge is simple, all those who wrong you, you do not punish them, you do not perform simple vengeance, all enemies are removed. Revenge is removing a threat entirely.Revenge is making your enemies non-existent.
If you survive it you can be whole again.
